• Photography and the Love Thereof
First, let me welcome all those passionate about photography and the less passionate who simply enjoy viewing good images in our world. Sometimes photography allows you to see something in an image that you didn't see while recording it originally. Learning the technical and aesthetic challenges of photography can be most rewarding, even while receiving formal education and training, ultimately your images will be your best instructors. Ideally, our photography training and instruction will both develop and provide us a keener "eye" for appreciating the image.
  • Images, We Love Them so
"It's not what you look at, it's what you see!"~ Henry David Thoreau
We all have memories of those images that moved us as we viewed them, an image of a loved one, a joyful occasion, our wedding day, the old neighborhood and the list goes on and on. Additionally, images of not so joyful of an occasion, the death of a loved one, family, friends, occasions, we all have those also. The common thread of both the joyful and not so joyful were the recorded images of those events. Frankly, it was the recorded images of those events that momentarily connected our lives. How well we record the image will often provide years, if not centuries of viewing pleasure. We photographers, amateur and professional are truly the Image Recorders of Time.
Again, Welcome, Welcome, Welcome!
